"I however, place economy among the first and most important repubican virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers to be feared. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt....I am for a government rigorously frugal and simple."

  1. The Christmas Star
Christmas in Loveland, CO means seeing the Christmas Star on the hill. See the story of Max Moree and how the star came to be. #LoveWhereILive
  2. Jump Start
The JumpStart program is one of the unique reasons why I #LoveWhereILive. Loveland takes a thoughtful approach to sentencing our most vulnerable population and sets these individuals on a road to success. Enforcing personal responsibility and accountability in exchange for tickets and fines is a win win for all - a model that should be considered beyond the borders of our very special town.
  3. Colorado Youth Outdoors
We can legislate many things but we can not legislate families and relationships. One reason why I #LoveWhereILive is Colorado Youth Outdoors. CYO is an organization that is on a mission to fill the gap.
  4. We Are Partners
The community we have here in Loveland is unique. The efforts put forth to help others succeed is incredible, from the city, to local businesses, to our neighbors, we truly are partners. Although our ideas of how we get there often differ, the hopeful destination is the same: a vibrant community, happy neighbors, and a feeling of togetherness. Take a look, it's one of the big reasons why I #LoveWhereILive.
  5. #LoveWhereILive 2018-2019
This year instead of politics as usual, we are rolling out a unique campaign: #LoveWhereILive. Loveland, Colorado is the best place on earth, and I am excited to introduce you to a few reasons why I feel Loveland is...well, Loveland. I invite you to follow along.
  6. #LoveWhereILive 2020
Entering Colorado legislative session 2020. We continue to tell the stories of Loveland and how legislation at the state level effects us right here at home. #LoveWhereILive
  7. Larimer County Sets the Standard
Hugh McKean and Sheriff Justin Smith of Larimer County discuss the consequences of the defelonization of drug posession, a bill passed last session, as well as the public dashboard, created first in Larimer County, that is now state's standard. #LoveWhereILive
